Name: South Meets Southwest
Ingredients: 1 lb. medium shrimp, shelled and deveined; 1 Cup white onion – diced; 14 oz. chicken broth; 14 oz. green enchilada sauce; 27 oz. can Hatch Whole Green Chilis, deseeded and diced; 1 ½ tsp. Granulated Garlic; 1 ½ Tbsp. Chicken Base; 1 tsp. Celery Salt; 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch; 1 tsp. Oregano; 1 Tbsp. Cumin; 1 ½ tsp. Jalapeno Powder; 1 Tbsp. Dried Cilantro; 1 ½ tsp. NM Green Chili Powder (Mild); 2 (4 oz.) cans Hatch Whole Green Chilis, deseeded; 1 Tbsp. New Mexico green chili powder (Hot); ¾ Cup Old Fashioned Grits; 3 ½ Cups water; ½ tsp. salt

The South meets the Southwest in this combination of two classics. The chili verde combines green chilis and chili powders from New Mexico with fresh shrimp and is accompanied by good old southern grits.
