Name: Salted Carmel Apple and Cream Cheese Dumplings
Ingredients: 5 Cups tart apples, peeled, cored chopped; 2 tsp. cinnamon; 1 tsp. nutmeg; 1 Cup sugar; 2 Tbsp. flour; 1 tsp. lemon juice; 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature; ¼ Cup sugar; 1 egg; ¼ Cup pecans; ¼ Cup dark corn syrup; ⅓ Cup brown sugar; ¼ Cup butter, melted; 1 tsp. sea salt; 1 8 oz. roll phyllo dough; ½ Cup butter; 4 oz. cream cheese, room temperature; 4 oz. white chocolate; ½ Cup heavy whipping cream; ½ tsp. cinnamon

Apple dumplings with a modern twist! Tart apples, lightly sweetened and seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg with a layer of cream cheese, wrapped in flaky phyllo pastry with a gooey, crunchy caramel topping and sprinkled with sea salt. These dumplings are accented with dollops of lightly whipped, white chocolate, cream cheese.

2018 WORLD DESSERT CHAMPION The World Food Championships I won the 2014 Kikkoman Grill Master Challenge at the Arizona State Fair where I took the 1st place $1,000 prize and recently took 1st place and $1,000 at the Riunite Ultimate Chile Challenge here in Phoenix.
